What's taking you so long?
My Asus eeepc 1005 HAP-UX etc., etc. netbook got a blue screen of death virus (?) with Windows XP (that I DESPISE)! :-(
(A windows lover just told me to upgrade to windows 8 when it comes out! HA! NEVER!).
Please answer me? :-(

Are you going to be out before windows 8? Dont want to go there am getting hacked of with Mac have fond memories of Ebuntu. You missed the opertunity with the Lion debacle will you get it right with Windows 8?

You can use any distro as long as the dependencies are correct. I'm currently using the debian base on which Aurora is built ( a mix of testing and unstable ).

Vala is easy to pick up, if you've done any C or C# (.NET or Mono) then you'll be going in no time at all. There's plenty examples to chew on if you get the latest version from Subversion.

I'm currently working on HD allocation/Partition
There's a guy (Hamza) working on the User Creation/Migration
Anything else if open to dev's. Just let me know which parts you're picking up to avoid duplicating effort.

Can you use any distro with these dependencies, or is it best to use Aurora itself (eb4 b1)? I don't know Vala or anything, but I'm wanting to learn something so I can contribute to Aurora.
